Wake up the River event on Saturday April 20, 9-3 at Noel Field
We are so excited to announce "Wake Up The River", our first outreach event for 2024.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 20th, to celebrate Earth Day 2024 and the Great Global Cleanup. The event hours are 9am to 3pm (rain date is Sunday, 4/21/24). The City of North Adams has kindly offered us Noel Field as our headquarters, and they will provide trash bags.
We will be inviting individuals and teams to participate in cleanup efforts at various sites along our Hoosic River within North Adams city limits. We will be offering prizes for things like the largest team, the most trash collected, and the most unusual piece of trash. We are planning to make this a FUN event for everyone!

Does it make you feel happy and proud when you see the Hoosic flowing through your town? The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needs to know the answers to these questions & many more. We are here to listen to you!

The Great Hoosic River Cleanup of 2023
HRR is partnering with Mountain Warrior Conservation Society for a cleanup event on Sunday, June 18! Join us this Father’s Day at the Beaver Mill parking lot at 10 AM to give back to the river and community we love so much. Gloves and trash bags will be provided; there will also be some grabbers available and coffee. See you there North Adams!
