Archived "Our River" TV Program
The mission of the Hoosic River Revival (HRR) is to bring back to life the concrete-channelized, inaccessible, unattractive, unhealthy 2.5 miles of the Hoosic River in downtown North Adams. Our ‘sister organization’, the Hoosic River Watershed Association (HoorWA) is dedicated to the restoration, conservation and enjoyment of the entire 75 miles of the Hoosic River that flows through northwestern Massachusetts, into southern Vermont, and through the middle of New York State, emptying finally into the Hudson River.
Lauren Stevens, who is the founder of HooRWA hosted a monthly local programming series about the Hoosic River Watershed until the end of 2016. We hope you will enjoy learning about the Hoosic River from the interesting, informed guests appearing on ‘Our River’.
